Hello from Seattle!

Post by Raichu » Wed Feb 09, 2011 6:40 pm

I am a virgin burner, hoping to go home this year! Been reading, listening and studying the burn for about 3 1/2 years now, and something came up every time I planned on going, but I really hope to make 2011, Rites of Passage my first burn!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

A lot of nice people, and a lot of snarky people, and a lot of nice AND snarky people, and some cranks, and some undercover cops, and a troll or two . . .

So are there any other PNW burners up here? I'd love to get in touch and just meet more people in the community! I really want to get involved with it :)

Hi Raichu! I was at seacompression too! Wild wasn't it! I'm going to try and make it out there in July! AND this year will be my first year Burning Man!
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Hi,
I also am from the PNW, the wet side, SnoHoCo.
And last year I helped with SeaCompression, am Toying with te Idea of CriticalMasive, and have yet to go to a Tuesday Potluck (search FaceB**k "Tuesday Potlucks Seattle" ) because I live in the moutians under a mossy rock.

Look around, explore, ask questions, sling snark and go nuts! [/url]

Woot! I just moved from downtown seattle back to snohomish county as well :)

I am really really excited to be a part of this years burn. It's been a few years coming, but I can now officially say with 100% certainty that I am going to be there this year :)
