Just because you brush your teeth does not make you a dentists. I give up on explaining. Go read your search and seizure laws and you may learn something.
You have missed the point completely - 'colour of the law' does not mean 'black and white' mate

I too, give up trying to highlight your decontextualised logic if you cite the same textbook answer. This is not based on textbook interpretation, but real experience - you may find that the two are rather different things
Go read your search and seizure laws and you may learn something.
I did, and still got the same conclusion..... much of it is open to interpretation - like any peice of constitutional legislation, thats why barristers and lawyers exist, to argue the 'interpretation' of legislation.

Your living in a dream world!

The only time you give up your liberties is under two circumstances; first one is if you are being arrested for a crime. The second is in major airports. If you don't want to give up liberties then don't fly and don't get arrested. This is the only time you give up your rights
They can search you for being SUSPECTED of committing a crime. No arrest necessary. This is correct. You can be searched if there is probable cause or consent.

Major airports? What minor airports offering commercial air service do not search you? When I speak of minor airports I am referring to small passenger planes that are non commercial. Sorry for not being specific.

There are rights of privacy I am mandated to give up in order to be employed. There are private property rights being run over on a regular basis all over the country. Rights of due process began this thread! Where in the U.S. Constitution is it written the gubmint has authority over what I do, eat, drink or smoke as long as it does not harm another individual? I think you meant Government. Our government does not tell you what you can and cannot eat, drink or smoke. We do have some laws that prevent you from eating drugs, or drinking alcohol under the legal age, and smoking narcotics. The last I checked, you can freely have a hamburger, soda, and suck a smooth camel without permission unless you are incarcerated. As for rights of employment, I like the fact my employer does background checks. I like to know if I don't have a pedophile or ax murderer sitting next to me. I like to know my employer is going to make an attempt to provide a safe environment.
