Virgin Burner from Florida flying into SLC

Post by Babaka » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:36 am

This will be my first burn and am hopefully meeting up with another virgin burner who is a friend driving up from Page, AZ and meeting me in SLC and we are driving out together. We will be tenting it and are both nudists and looking for a group of people to camp with. We are both 60 years old and figured if we don't start doing it now when will we start?
This is #1 on our bucket list.....

You want to find our friends Nude 4077. Great folks. Look up the Utah burners through element11.org join the yahoo group and say howdy. Someone will be willing to say hello back and point you in the right direction. May not invite you to camp with them, but then again, they might. It is a personal camp, not a theme camp, so this is their home. There are plenty of Utahns who attend.

You may also like the Vegas burners, Party Naked Tiki Bar, but they're an Esplanade bar, very hopping all the time.

I'm from Ogden, north of SLC. We camp in Hushville. A good quiet village, and no one cares if you're naked or not. All individual camps in a loose structure, no amenities.

place to store bikes and a few boxes in or near SLC

Post by Babaka » Sat Feb 19, 2011 6:58 am

We are driving across county this summer two months before the Burn and need a place to store two bikes and a couple of boxes of supplies. I will be flying out so am limited in my luggage. Do you know anyone with space in their garage that could help me out. After the Burn I will donate bikes and supplies.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

If you're in the Sacramento-Auburn area, the Barbie Death Camp storage shed should have room for two more bikes and a box of supplies. PM me if interested.

I thought that was generally the case throughout the playa, not just in Hushville or other camps.

True, but if you're camping with new-found friends, the initial feeling of security is reassuring until the playa has become part of your psyche.

Babaka...go to yer profile and enable your BB codes if you want the quotes to stand out...or whatever it is they do...
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.
