Burning to go for the first time.....

Post by thelionking » Tue Feb 22, 2011 8:10 pm

I had a big change in my life this January and am using that change to expand my horizons.

I am excited, scared, intrigued, curious and definitely out of my comfort zone.

Sounds like a good recipe for personal growth.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Good-o.

Btw, if you want quotes, bold or italics (etc) to show, go to "Profile" at the top center, scroll down to preferences, and enable your BBCode. :)

It great that the long drive won't deter you visiting.

If you're originally from San Francisco is it OK to say "Frisco"? I thot that San Franciscans bristled at that moniker...just wonderin'...
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

That's why I assumed he was from Frisco, TX. No self-respecting human being would call it Frisco. Though I dated a Del Frisco once. No relation. I even went so far as to ask her to marry me. Not only did she say no, but she said (and I swear I am not making this up) "Jim, not only can I not marry you, but I've been having an affair with an American Airlines pilot and we're through."

A simple no would have sufficed.

It's "the City."

I haven't been there in 20 years, I live in Utah now, and I still call it The City.

Whippersnappers, harumph.
