I just finished goading my youngest through the extremely laborious process of signing up for housing at Temple University. Now he has a dorm room for the fall

and I will be jumping off the mommy train on August 25th!!!

It's been really great raising these kids, but: 24/7/365 responsibility, wearing clothes at home, being constantly available just in case... I am so ready to be done with all that.

Well, I work on friday so after work I went to visit my mom. She has dementia and lives in a specialized care home. I suprized her with adrumstick ice cream cone, one for me too, and she ate it all up! We had a nice visit. I love my mommy!

I am listening to the gas bubbling in my Grandma's newly acquired colostomy bag while I am spending huge amounts of time waiting for this shitty webconnect thing from the hospital to load these and other pages.

I wish I had brought some swedish fish to snack on because those singapore noodles I had for dinner ain't sticking with me too well and I am thinking about eating my grandma's pudding right now.

not that pudding, the vanilla pudding(you sicko).

Watched TV, cuddled the girl cats. Put them to bed, then came upstairs to cuddle the boy cats. Called MyLarry and whined about being lonely.

My felines have divided the house. Dad's little girls have the basement, my boys live on the main floor. Too much hissy fittin' to get them to live in harmony.

I haven't seen our white MaMa KaT in over 4-5 days.

That's not like her. She's an outdoor cat, and very independent, but she always came around in the morning and night like clockwork to get fed. I'm hoping she just found a cozy warm hole to stay dry and safe in during the snow and cold.
