Have you considered using 1" white PVC water pipe or 1"grey
PVC electrical pipe both of which come in 10 ft lengths.

They are very cheap.
Track & Field gear, such at that, as used by my brothers athletes
in the Olympic Games is very expensive.

I really need to use poles for pole vaulting since this is to be a space
of offering and prayer for us as humans to vault ourselves into a
future that works for everyone and a harmonious existence with
nature, for when we are in accord with nature she will yield her bounty
what we are in now looks depressing to me,
so I am calling forth for a better way of living with each other
and the rest of life on this planet,
a call for intelligence to transform the intellect
so we may reverse all the destructive practices we have set in
motion

Do you think there are pole vault collectors on this forum?
That's a tall order, consider seriously making them from scratch.

Used ones never seem to sell for less than $100.
BTW, the area of foam you would need (enclosed) is huge. The foam itself would probably fill a small U-Haul. Even without the side protection, the larger mat should be 20' x 20'. Needless to say, this sport isn't really for beginners. If they land on their feet, even on the foam,,,,bad news sometimes...
