The Japanese always seem to have a unique eye on things.

Hey great PA Sham!! Now I can do it with confidence.
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

WTF? My wife is Skyping her sister in Abu Dhabi. The mike isn't working on her sisters end so they are on the phone talking as they watch each other on the computer. WTF?

I want to ride the mercury surf board!
Charlie Sheen is helping to make Mel Gibson look normal!

Edited for the actual quote: "It's been a tsunami. And I've been riding it on a mercury surfboard."

And, for the follow up:

Who said it: Qaddafi or Sheen?

I only got 7 out of 10 right.

I have to feel sorry for Charlie sheen, he believes in everything he says, and doesn't have the slightest clue how screwed up he really is. I also feel sorry for his family. They must be mortified by his psychotic behavior.

well, i have a cousin Jeff, who makes old Charlie look normal and sane. untreated bi-polar and other assorted ism's. You get past mortified pretty quick. I'm pretty settled into sad when i think of him however frustated, angry and amused cycle through often. With most of his "ism's" he does have treatment choices, but as is common with this mental illness he doesn't think he needs help. Thankfully his wife doesn't divorce him so he can stay on her insurance (though she refuses to live with him).

Untreated Bipolar is the worst thing a person can do for themselves. I have a friend who's depressed with bipolar tendencies and won't get treated because he say it can be done naturally (ummm...no), and he's in denial. He's a very intelligent man. My heart breaks for him sometimes. But you can't force someone to seek treatment, sad to say.

My youngest daughter, 40 years old, has been diagnosed Bipolar. When she is on her medication she's OK. When she's not on her meds she is the classic manic depressive. Very scary. Has already blown off two marriages. Unfortunately she is 1500 miles away in Ohama, NE so I, believe it or not, keep a close eye on her Facebook postings to get an idea how she is doing.
