I agree with teardropper... I have the Leatherman Wave too and I love it! I used it a lot on the Playa last year.... mostly helping people tighten bolts and other loose things on their bikes. And help someone with an Engine problem (with some Duck Tape) as we were all leaving. Its a great little multi-tool to haveteardropper wrote:Well, besides my vice grips for the twist/pull method of removing my 18" rebar stakes (these have a 90Ëš heat bent 1 1/4" angle on them that I drive flush with the ground, eliminating a protective covering), this Leatherman Wave is just one handy piece for carrying on your belt. Does just about everything. Very sturdy, except for trying to twist in the pliers. You can snap it.
But I carry in the motorhome a complete set of near everything. More than I need, but I am very popular in camp. Still the Wave is always there, and I don't have to go get a specific tool every time. I am quite lazy, and hate that walk...
What's YOUR favorite tool?

Pawn shoppes in Reno near the bus station sell hocked multi-tools for thirty bucks. I like the Gerber.
