Graidawg, I have really gotten to enjoy the time I spend here, and for the most part, with very few exceptions, I have not had any lasting issues or problems that haven't been smoothed over. You'll run across a plethora of emotions and personalities here, but let me tell you I have made some awesome friendships and get giddy with anticipation of either running across somebody on the playa, seeing them at the MnG (even if it requires threats of kidnapping to get someone there)

The economy is in the dumps, prices across the board are raising with no end in sight, and the weather sucks. Not surprising some are in a funk.

Hang in there though, the prize is worth the wait.

misa yea its meant to be i am a burner, but i like i am a jet too, i am truely rubbish at languages, i sometimes struggle with english, i think gibberish is my mother tongue. Too much time tripping or wasted as an adult methinks.
its a shame i was quite clever when i was younger. oh well spilt milk and all that

Sail man, you have said what i Feel, if i didnt enjoy it here i would of fucked off sharpish, the wit and humour is so my cup of tea (except i dont like tea) i read everything and often laugh and try to explain it at work, almost always getting blank looks. There isnt a single poster on here i wouldn't enjoy meetng, some more than others its true. Dr pyro saying he is in london IN 4 MONTHS had me looking up places to go and what to wear before i even answered.

Savannah said i am living this at hyperspeed and its true, i keep trying to slow down but then i see or read something amazing and i'm off again.

I think i'm going to have to have a sign saying something like "hi i'm graidawg, i'm not in trouble just overloaded can you put me in the shade while my brain reboots" for when i get there.

eat EVERY day? I dont think i do that now and i put weight on.

most people swear like its mandatory in the uk, i just choose to use it for special occasions - though i love to hear the polish swear, they do it in english even when they are talking polish.

The thing I cannot believe is we purchased TWO BOXES of TWINKIES today and put them on the BM supply shelf. We figure they'll get better with age. We personally have not had a Twinkie since,,,,, the 20th Century at least!

But just knowing SgOrMaEiBdOaDwYg might eat them forced us to stock the stash. one down, two to go!

There has been occasion I have allowed myself to cut loose the burner snark on coworkers and board members of the partnership for which I work. The word "FUCK",,, or "GO FUCK YOURSELF" in a professional setting tends to overshadow whatever message expressed. Even though the moment may justify an expression of tremendous displeasure, some folks suffer the 'F' bomb like a physical assault and battery,,,, abusive language if you will. Even though it expresses exactly what the moment deserves in my opinion, the political correctness and cultural sensitivities overwhelm free expression.

Burners seem to take it in stride. As far as the Brits are concerned, if Gordon Ramsay is any example of proper English decorum,,, I am thinking graidawg lives in a bubble.
