We are also open to new camp members. A couple of things to consider before jumping on board:
- No drama, period. We've not once had an issue with camp drama, but if we did the offending parties would be swiftly required to permanently find some other part of the desert. If this seems harsh, we're not your camp.
- We are serious about our fun. We believe that we get to have so much madcap fun because we dispatch with the business of building and running camp first. Everyone builds, everyone strikes, everyone contributes to camp infrastructure and events. That said, everyone also gets several days off during the week, so it's not like you'll be chained to an oar -- or anyway, not a metaphorical oar. Still, we're dead serious about showing up when you say you will, and doing what you say you'll do.
- We are primarily Seattle based. We have some crew in the bay area and elsewhere, but because a lot of work goes into our preparations we'll expect folks to either travel in to help out with our major work party, or pick up the slack in BRC.
- While not exactly dry, we're also not a party camp. If mind alteration by way of ingestion is a required part of your burn, we're probably not your camp.
