Welcome!
You don't really need to find a group or a camp; you may want to, however... what, specifically, are you looking for?
We're all playa-colored around here, you'll fit right in...

Uncheck the boxes at the bottom of your post, and/or in your profile, for your quotes to work properly...

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

welcome to eplaya! there are several threads about how to find a camp, and whether or not it's even necessary.
the beautiful thing about this board is its equal opportunity for love, snark, and advice.

Huckleberries, I am sure you're a wonderful group of people. But you may want to tell us something about yourselves; I see your Profile has nothing in it. I mean, let's try: gender, age, where do you live, what things do you like/hate, what kind of experience are you trying to have, sexual orientation in case that matters to you, are you AA-Nazis or drinkers or 4:20 enthusiasts or drum circle freaks, do you play the bagpipes, are you blind, etc. etc. etc. There are a LOT of camps on the playa, some 500+, and many (including my own modest little camp) are accepting some new members; not many, but a few. So, want to try that again? You'll forgive me, but I have no idea what, and I quote, "...we are two of two different colors and two different worlds with the same mind..." means. Of course, I'm border line retarded.

Love the end of your post, Dr. Pyro.

Welcome, Huckleberries! Yes--please say more about yourself, and what you're looking for. And take a look under the "2011 Theme Camps" forum for a sample of what's out there. But recognize that there is absolutely no reason that you must connect yourself with a theme camp--especially if you have camped before anywhere and have some skillz.
