I'm pretty naive about these things, but really. A quarter million dollars salary to the CEO of a charity is considered reasonable?

LIddy Dole got a cool million a year when she was head of the Red Cross, and that was in the 90s or maybe 2000.
I also don't like the organization much. I'm happy to go with Oxfam. I'm sure there are many worthy organizations, and I like the idea of multiple avenues and methods of help--it's a complicated disaster, after all.
I just hope that they work well together and don't get in turf wars.

The massive, heartless, money-grubbing corporation I work for just set up a matching fund for Japan relief contributions. Even Red Cross! ;)
