Hanging out naked all day.

Finally getting some sewing done -- and realizing just how wonderful the faux fur feels next to my cold skin.

I'm starting to think that ALL sewing should be done naked!

Ah, when you are a killjoy like me, it turns out to be getting in that manger and snarling.

By which I mean that this a lovely thread, but for me it is laced with pain, because so many of the pleasures named here are those that I lost... I don't really want to spoil anyone's fun, but I'm having a hard time with the pain it evokes. Please don't fret, I'm one fo those people who must acknowledge the pain in order to feel the joy. And while I appreciate the fact that I could just not open it, that to me is an inadequate response to the complicated feelings this thread evokes. So the above is as much snarking at my self as it is snarking at anyone else.

TOTALLY agree! And do so as much as possible! It makes instant fittings for playa wear sooooo much easier.

I know, sweetie, I'm struggling with that as well. For me, the discipline is in focusing on the here and now, rather than the past or the future. On seeing the moon as half white rather than half black. Sometimes I feel resentment towards happy couples, but I know the way ahead is through, not back.
