Free stuff for burners

Some where at the bottom in the back is a WWII wooden foot locker..
In the locker is black smith tools from the day..

There is a large metal can from FDR days. From the US HYW Dept.. It was used to transport nitro..

That stuff is deep under.. Have not seen it for years..

Found some shirts and coats from yesteryears. They will go to a friend that is a movie outfitter..

Want to send a folding pocket ruler to our #1 comtraptioneer. It was old when I used it while ingraving tomb stoned a life time ago..

A box of grade school pictures. Now to black mail me kids heh heh heh

Some of that stuff will do well.
I know where to put any car stuff.
Smith tools always hold their value.
Certain carpentry tools bring crazy amounts.
Drives real carpenters nuts.

Anyone have use for the water-activated heat packs from mres? I probably have the regular dozen.

Also notice a hand full of upholsety tool.. I manufactured sofe and chairs for a while..

Shipping is what kills the value for you. I'd keep it local unless they pay postage or UPs upfront like on ebay. That's why we did not sell anything by auction.

Notes about everything might be enough.
And don't leave anyone in the basement.

One of my relatives thinks going through tools is part of the grieving process.

Worth asking them about it.
The oddest things might mean something to them.

True about shipping.
But worthless in one place is useful in another.
I sold the cheaper stuff that time to one or two people.
Shipping was about what I sold for, but still a good deal for them.
Some stuff on ebay has higher shipping than the sale cost and still sells.
Wider market.
All depends.

You only have to find one person for each item.

Depends on how much of a hassle the finding will be, and how fast you want to be done.

The extra work for me was cataloging.
After that, wasn't too bad.
Nice to have the money coming in every so often.
I noticed that the third ads always got the responses, a weird but known phenomenon.
Not sure how much the internet has changed all that.
Some things still do better in print though.
It's all about niche markets.

I had zero local interest.
It was fun to tell the dealers I got ten times what I offered it to them for.

One guy didn't buy anything for more than a quarter, but eventually bought everything I had that was cheap and wouldn't sell.

Some one want a small 120v motor?

Bout 2 1/2 h x1 1/4 dia.

Has a two speed control attached..

It was a foot viborater.. All the return rubber went flat.. So I striped it out .. The motor works great..
