I remember helping my grammy trim back the rose bushes with ferlin husky on the record player inside. She also had an 8-track tape that we heard over and over and over and over in her truck. I hear him on the radio on occasion and it snaps me right back to some of the happiest memories of my childhood

My friend, David Otto, died Saturday night. A ruptured aorta. David was 62 years old and leaves behind his loving wife Susan and two daughters, Misti and Tracy. His three grandchildren will sorely miss him.
David had a profound impact on my children in their early teenage awkward years and I will always feel indebted to him. Go with God my dear friend.

Tamara, my regrets as well. I think we should gather up all of the Barbiebarians (forgive me if I leave you off this list, I've been drinking while watching the Butler-UConn game) me, MisaBlue, Bluemandrew, MyDearFriend, AKMojo, Jella, ygmir, gerlachNloaded, wannaberavin, massagenut, illy dilly, janicels, Frank the Vintner, lonestoner916, graidawg, ninzy, akdman, panduhmama, and the rest of the wino reprobates, and go to the Temple of Remembrance and pay our respects. I did it last year when my aunt Peg died and cried like a baby. It didn't help that I was there at the Temple while her funeral was going on in Yuba City. That's what friends and burners are for. We are there for you in your time of grief. Your loss is our loss.
