The Spenard Bar...
The Spenard Bar is waiting placement, we asked for directly in-between terminal city and barbie death village in order to offer a watering hole for both camps to stage their violent massacre of the opposing camp, or for anyone else that would like a drink, exact location still up in the air

Can't wait for the Alaskans!
Alaskans at burning man are a must have! They know how to party! Being trapped in a cold forsaken snowy land... that rumor has it there are a lot more men then there are women!
Besides they bring with that strange quirky up beat attitude and creative genius that burning man is known for!
Last year their sub-camp was amazing but they need their own space because they are growing and expanding!
All those stripper poles need space! Last year they attracted hordes of gorgeous naked women (including I), and there simply was not enough room for all of us wanting access to their "poles".
If Alaska was not so f'ing cold, I would visit just to hear those delightful accents and terminology and do some googling...
Yummy specimens of real hearty males and nice asses... Honestly can you have too many! The only thing that saddened me last year was that JR their leader and chief refused to run behind the water truck!
Hey burning man... can we kinda make that a prerequisite for his own camp? Or maybe instead of having a dicks parade we have an Alaskan sway parade????
Need more tea... me thinks! ;-)

Come to Alaska! It's only cold and foresaken in the winter. I feel we have a beautiful summer building up this spring.

I appreciate the "kindness" of your offer and I may just do that, come and visit in the summer if I get bored of the lovely weather I have all year long in California (not rubbing it in).
But I have been told (hint) that Alaska has more than just beautiful landscape to view. I may be tempted to take a trip soon if I saw some of the scenery!
:D
Do you have safety meetings in Alaska too?

We are having a great spring so far, it's been hitting the 40s for weeks now, and the snow is starting to melt... We already had an unofficial preburn campout because of the warm weather, yep, only four to six more weeks and there will be plants again!! Screw Phenoix and their 100 degree day yesterday, hello global warming and an early Alaskan spring

safety third !! and we'll need some tasty cookies after that meeting !!
our preburn went well, we built and burned a 35' tall man made out of spruce trees... it was warm out and about as completely opposite from the Playa environment as one could get.. instead of art cars we had snowmachines !!
during our heightened sense of reality we thought of even more "Alaskan" activities for our Spenardigras and Fur Rondy events !!

Are you going to sell insurance?
Traditional native games, like three legged snowshoe racing, the wrist hang, leg wrestling, and the ear pull.... Just a little spoiler
OMG are you going to be offering insurance? Is there going to be a medic on hand? The ear pull... sounds as painful as the toe pull or maybe its all a leg pull! lol

I got a beaver, but it's been abused pretty bad, especially where something's rubbed against it over and over.... ))giggles((
Serious, tho - really do have a full racoon, it dates from the late teens/early 20's, and wasn't taken care of... startng to dry out, and shedding... damn! Not even sure how restorable it is any more - yeah, it's bad.
We had a pair of black bear hides, beautiful medium brown, I wanted to make into a coat... but couldn't find someone who would do the work to build them. (F'n California - ain't what it used to be). Ended up finally gifting them to a friend for her and her hubby's cabin... tho they woulda been to die for.
Anyway, down here, you get the whack jobs who toss paint and stuff on your hides, to protest - talk about dishonoring the dead...
Leg wrestling? We did that as kids! Damn, I miss the old days...

if there is one thing we Alaskans and PETA have in common it is to stop the abuse of beavers !!!
bring your beaver to our Camp for TLC.. we will massage and oil it and make it feel at home, just like a new, young beaver again.....
as far as the old hides.. I suggest AARP for advice....
