Hi!
I am putting together the makin's for a Burning Man Recipe book. If anyone out there has a great Playa recipe or Playa food tips they would like to include in this book, please feel free to post it here, or send me an e mail at: photobook.nanaimo (at) gmail (dot) com
**This book will only be used for gifting, and will not be sold to anyone!**
I plan to produce only one professionally bound book and then copy the pages (as professionally bound books are expensive!) to distribute to the citizens of Black Rock City!
I would like to include lots of pictures too... so send those to my e-mail! Photos of food preparation on the Playa are vital!
I love you all!

You should private message Mojojita and ask if you can steal their idea for boil-in-the-bag omelets.

Wow you can cook on the playa!? I always just stuck a can of soup or chili on the dash of my truck and the windshield acts as a magnifying heat souce and it warms up....makes my cans freaking hot to the touch. Maybe this year I will try to fry bacon on my dash board this year.
If you dug a hole through the center of the earth, and jumped in, would you stay at the center because of gravity?

I believe thats called a "Bloody Pig"....if you like beef, add beef bouillon to the Bloody Mary for a Bloody Bull.Thumplin wrote:bacon infused vodka for bloody Mary's. Make sure to strain it though, little chunks of fat floating around your drink is a bit gross.
Thanks Thumplin! now Im thirsty/hungry!
anything worth doing is worth overdoing..
