First Timers from Iowa

Post by iowamedic » Mon Mar 28, 2011 11:55 pm

Hey,

My wife and I are attending for the first time this year and I have a ton of questions. Figured I better be prepared rather than try and wing it!!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Yeah I am a real medic!! I was wondering if there was anyway that I could volunteer my "services" while at BM. It might be hard because of state licenses and all that bs!!

ESD has spend a fair amount of time working out those logistical bugs in order to get good medics to volenteer there from all over the country.

Also...start working on those farmer-tanned arms before arriving...or don't take your shirt off.
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

I only went out there because my husband was an EMT, and had a classic need for that adrenaline rush. If he could have worked 12 hours a day every day he would have loved it.
