hey billie! welcome to the eplaya. we are in central texas too and are making the trek to burningman for this first time. read read read. lots of really good advice under the practical threads, and lots of goofyness in open discussion. the search thing is a bit wonky, but most questions are answered once you master it!

I sorta live in Austin and sorta San Antonio and I'm heading to BRC this year for the first time.

Austin has that odd way of joining people together just like the playa. Maybe our paths will cross if they haven't already.

I hope to really move to Austin in November.

Oh yea, welcome aboard!

Howdy - we'll be in Texas next month. Galveston in the south and Wichita Falls in the north.

I'd love to come check out that camp in Gigsville and add to the damness of it all. Any idea on when they will start posting camps' placements?

Yayyyyy, 2011 Theme Camps are up! Thanks, Rudy.

I don't even mind that I'd have to email them (or visit Playa Info) to find them . . . it's just fun to look at what people are trying to do.
