If you are referring to Lawn Darts, I've looked without success. We wanted them for last year and simply cannot find them.

We could just use clothespins to pop the bubbles,,,, but flesh is sooooo much more responsive!

One of my new joys is running over bubble wrap. It doesn't make up for what I lost, but it's kinda cool in its own right.

This opens up an idea for a camp about excessive safety: I can see you guys all walking around with bicycle helmets and life-saving equipment. Sort of a "Fire Marshall Bill" kind of thing too. You could go around gifting novelty insurance waivers stating that Larry Harvey will pay $1000 if you get herpes and gonorrhea at BM.

Everyday at 4:20pm, join us in our safe dome to discuss safe procedures and share safe stories. No joke, walk in as a dangerous sparkle pony disaster, leave as a safe sex fairie. You are absolutely correct that there is a real liability exposure if someone gets hurt out at Burning Man. Either that person or their family decide to take legal action against the theme camp. This has happened in the past. My colleague and I are insurance geeks who as Burners ourselves saw a need for a liability product to protect participants. A narc planted inside of the rangers could sure uncover some nasty law-suits.
I doubt it would be difficult to find people at BM with money for the lawyers to target.
For every burner that goes there is a worried mother at home ready to press charges.

Very good point!

My lawyer might be flying in half way through the week this year. But he is there to "party my old gray ass off, while my kids aren't around".
Though, he has been talking about flying in for a couple years, I doubt it will ever happen.

I would think that official Theme Camps would fall under the BMorg use at your own risk policy, just because theme camps are approved parts of the Burning Man event.

Now that I think of it, the BMorg's use at your own risk policy is for the entire event grounds, which it lined out by the trash fence, so anything within that fence would be held to the overall policies of event.

I still think fake names is your safest bet!
