If given a chickenfish hat, I would wear it with distinction... as in "Dis here hat really schtinks!!"

I am sure a chickenfish that close to your nose all day would not be the most pleasant way to spend an afternoon. We chickenfish smell like, well, chicken and fish....

All the ancient Greek literature I've read uses the Greek myths in roughly the same way Shakespeare did, and we still do today: as illucidating allegories, or occasionally tongue-in-cheek. It's like someone 10 millenia from now stumbling upon a copy of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," thinking we literally believed it, and coming to literally believe it himself.
