First timer looking for advice about bicycles and corrosion
Markers need to be visible on all sides.
Traffic moves in all directions at once sometimes.
After using adequate lighting on the playa, I am dismayed by how poorly lit most bikes are in default traffic.
I have always used better lighting than average, like leg lights, but I will be stepping it up in the real world.

I used diamond grade striping on my bike the first year and it is extremely effective.
What's more, the reflective material is still working after being exposed to UV since 2005.
It's very stiff, but works even on curved surfaces.
I'm rebuilding the bike for someone homeless. which hasn't been maintained or sheltered since being on the playa.
It isn't that bad internally.
All the cheaper reflective material faded, but not the 3M diamond.
The stuff is available in solid colors too.
Silver is most effective.
