Come party in Cincinnati this weekend for a good cause

Regional burners, come support the tri-state (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio) area's burnerspace in Cincinnati, The KOIpound. Join us for Spring Fling!

FYI: The KOIpound is in the process of becoming an official non-profit. We host monthly workshops, classes and talks on various topics. We also have dance/yoga/exercise space (with mirrored walls and martial arts training gear), a wood and metal shop including a working CNC mill (about to be enlarged to a full 4'x8') and a charcoal forge, a giant courtyard for spinning and large projects, etc, etc, etc. Come check us out if you're anywhere nearby. We also host traveling burners as a waystation on the way to regional burns and the playa.

Spring Fling is on!

April 23rd, join us at Mayday in Northside Cincinnati for a night of mayhem as we do the prom burner-style. Wear your favorite costume or dust off the old prom dress and help raise funds to support the KOIpound.
This time out we are partnering with our neighbors who are turning a gorgeous gothic style church into a music and art space. So, our already eclectic mix of attendees and entertainment is getting an additional injection.

Performances by:
DJ Capt. Chronicles (Indy)
Northern Lights Entertainment (Fire Performance)
And other fun special guests

The King and Queen will be crowned at Midnight and we bet it won’t look anything like high school!

Have your prom photo taken with all donations supporting Scorched Nuts ArtGrants. (

This is a 21+ event with a recommended donation of $10 at the door.

Mayday will again have some fun drink specials including $10 bottle of champagne and their amazing dogs for those munchies moments. Visit them at www.maydaynorthside for more details.

We have attendees coming from as far as Pittsburgh, PA and we DO have crash space available at the KOIpound. Please let us know if you plan to avail yourself of our hospitality so we can prepare for you. You will need a dropcloth of some kind to protect your air mattress (recommended) or soft sleeping materials from our decades-old wood floors which can at times be splintery.
