First time burner! : )

Post by Sschade » Sat Apr 16, 2011 9:41 pm

Hi everyone!
This year will be my first burn. I heard about The Burning Man through a friend and fell in love with the idea. I've been on the lookout for something otherworldy for a long time and think I may have found it :D Any advice on when to buy an online ticket?

At this point first, second and third tier tickets are all sold out, so unless you find someone selling a ticket, you have no reason to buy now. No economic reason. Many people on this board like to buy the ticket as soon as possible, because it helps them focus on their commitment for going this year. Also, burningman has never, to my knowledge, "sold out", but if it's going to, this year might be the one.

I think you'll be able to predict if they are close to selling out if they decide to announce that they will not have sales at the gate this year.
