Libya

Would it be in our best interest to support the rebels, before al quada does? We already have their hearts and minds....and we stalled. What next?

I am thinking that as well, we only get one chance at this in a generation. Libya is another country with a younger than average - average population age.

Sway the younger generations into thinking that the US is not out to take them over and are allies you can sway their opinion forever.

Libya was also the only country from that region that actually had WMDs and was directly implicated in terrorist attacks as well. I wouldn't mind seeing that meglomaniac and his entire seed removed.

John McCain suggested freeing Quaddafi's frozen assets for the rebels, so they could buy heavy weapons. I kinda agree.

Give money to the Egyptians so they can use their army to roll across Libya and take it all. I am sure they would enjoy Libya's oil wealth, and the Libyans would enjoy dominating the Suez Canal.

The Libyan army defectors, have finally stepped up. I think the Egyptians have enough on their hands..plus, I think the Libyans need to do it themselves....with our air support.

Libya would be the perfect place to produce algae Bio-Diesel!

Who in the fuck does the US think it is.............

Oh yeah.... Navy's new slogan:

"A GLOBAL force for GOOD"

What makes you think this is any of "our" business? War mongers!

You can't have it both ways............

Either you are pro-war or anti-war.

I am anti-war. The US should let other countries handle their own problems.

Just how does it feel running down the picket fence? Do your balls go "slap, slap, slap"?

I am not a fence walker.

If only more "wars" were like the current situation in Libya, where we can simply bring destruction from above, but avoid troops on the ground.

I don't know too much about the rebels, other than they asked for our air support..as did the Arab League..as did NATO. In Obama's defense, he was hesitant to go, until the situation in Benghazi approached being a blood bath..and we were asked by the Arab League. At least our Drones have somewhat limited the innocent casualties, and enabled the rebels to drive back pro government forces. Until we get our fucking heads out of the sand and start exploiting our green technology, thats been put on the back burner, the stability of the middle east is in our national interests.
