This year will be my first burning man! I cannot express or contain my excitement! I am looking forward tone experiencing many new things! One of them being finding an equally interested mama to help me experience he joys of anal sex. Think it's pOssible? Any thoughts?

However, there are more men looking for a hook-up than there are women. A lot of people aren't particularly interested in sex there, it's dirty, awkward and maybe it even counts as an activity you can do the other 51 weeks of the year. There is a definite dynamic of wanting something specific on-playa and not finding it, as opposed to being open and finding all sorts of stuff.
Anal sex is perhaps not best done on a first date. It involves relaxing and trust and a playa pick-up might not be the best place to induce that.

Chiming in, from an 11 year, burnerwoman's perspective...

On the playa, the ratio of men to women seems to consistently be about 6 to 1.
This reduces your desirability greatly - not because of you, just because of the numbers...
I have personally been 'hit on' many times over the years, and never once accepted an offer (and not cuz the offer wasn't a good one

...
I have also been to the playa with a partner, and we have not had sex at BRC.
The cleanliness issues are daunting, to say the least, especially for women.
The overload, exhaustion, and natural highs that are inherent to the experience appear to greatly reduce the desire to get laid, at least for moi!

Not to say it can't happen; but counting on it and/or soliciting for it might not be the best way to approach this amazing experience...
