The Welcome Wagon

Post by theCryptofishist » Sun May 01, 2011 9:36 am

It started with JK and his inimitable "Welcome to Eplaya", now we seem to have half a dozen welcomers, Bob Bitchin', Samantha...
Probably an improvement, as it at least doesn't leave the newbies with a quite as intense hanging in the wind feeling.

Someday, JK will eventually blow his wad, and on-hand replacements will be needed.

And the poor newbie that it catches will be blown out of eplaya, past tribe.net, beyond facebook, to kingdomcum.com.

I'm not complaining, just commenting. I think it's probably a "good thing" although there are times when I'm running through the new posts in the Introductions forum and it's the same over and over. So, I can take a little boredom, if it means that someone's getting some friendliness.

True enough, but then it is kind of a hazing process to thin out the curiosity seekers.

I must say, I was welcomed to this place wonderfully! I didn't get the snark at first, hurt my oh so tender feelings. Now that Now that my old hide has thickened, nothing bothers me.

I haven't even been to a burn but I feel like I already know most yooz guyz! and that's comforting.
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Beat them into submission right off the bat I say. Other times I feel more compassionate and answer their questions.

Most of the time I beat them.

You have it entirely wrong - JK is not "Pounding it" as it appears, just as I am clearly scratching my nose, so I can see where the confusion arises.

JK is obviously shaking martinis in a mixer, but from this angle you cant see it.

hope this helps.

Why does jk say "Pounding it" and not "Shaking Martinis" instead then?

A martini would be nice right about now.
