That's positively surreal.
Insert Oxycontin joke here.
Yeah, I have to mark the occasion with a feeble joke.

Never thought I'd see that.
Me either. Though years ago when I was a staunch Republican,i used to listen to him all the time, and he was actually pretty fair and balanced, though a staunch conservative. I'm not quite sure what pushed him out onto the fringes, though I'd assume it was money.
Before ya'll get all excited over praising Limbaugh, go back and reread all of it. Now put it Rush's biting sarcasm mannerism.

He was not praising Obama in the slightest

BULL FUCKING SHIT

Unless of course you are one of the people in the operations room photo. Which one are you?

The video will have some chop from movement, but it will be in glorious 1080p when released. If you are going to lie to try and impress people with claims of having inside access to the president's inner circle, at least make your lie consistent in content with the available technology.

Actually, they are showing parts of the video. I saw the clips too on MSNBC. They look as gyre says. All of the videos that they decide to release will be of that quality, at least for now. Not that they don't have the 1080p versions, just that they are not releasing it, I'd assume until they have a chance to go over it frame by frame for intel.

It appeared to be from a mounted camera as they rushed from room to room.
I don't know how good that can get until they stand still.
I captured some and ran it frame by frame, and still couldn't tell much.
Any people were edited out.
Very short anyway.

The first one I saw appeared to have Osama or someone appear in it for a frame, but I never saw it again.
It often happens that unedited footage runs when a story first breaks, then vanishes.
I have no conclusion about this though.
Too fast, too choppy, too edited.

Expect the video on the uncensored sites eventually.
They want the proof out, but don't know how to release it all publicly.

The video that is currently available is video footage shot on a satellite cell phone AFTER the raid took place.

There is no footage available of the actual raid and the SEALs doing their thing.

I hope all the conspiracy theorists who doubt the killing of this monster will please keep in mind that the seals took custody of the body. If any real power asks for more absolute proof, I imagine they will be asked which of his fingers they want us to send them.

I think it would be more interesting to capture or kill him and not tell anyone.
What would their options be?
To acknowledge their leader was killed?
Pretend he wasn't missing and unable to explain why?

If he's not dead, all he has to do is show up.
Too risky to fake.

I found a photoshopped (and listed as fake) picture of his body already.
Started to post it, but it may be too graphic for some.
Always good reason to question the source of information.

Definitely interesting. So is he saying that bin Ladin was betrayed by the Pakistanis? In which case that would imply that Obama went in on intel from Pakistan and created the cover story that they went in without permission to somehow give credibility to the Pakistani government with its people? Hmmm.
I'm guessing that his interpretation is that someone or some agency within the government did it as some complicated part of another "game." That's not really what I found so interesting about that article, but there's a lot there.

Edited to add: Like that opening paragraph, "A middle-aged nonentity, a political failure outstripped by history--by the millions of arabs demanding freedom and democracy in the Middle East--died in Pakistan yesterday."

BTW, Simon, structural engineers from the People's Republic of Berkeley signed off on the WTC report. Both KSM & the late Ossie bin Laden were capable engineers and project managers. If there's anything curiously missing in the official accounts, it's the details wrt the project design of the building collapses, and who al Qaeda used as engineering consultants. And don't toss molten steel at me, just count your joules, as it were.

Really a failure anyway.

They wanted the buildings to tip over sideways, for more destruction.

And the first attack made people move out.
With timing, a small success comparatively.

how fitting .... his last act on earth was to hide behind a woman ...
I gather there was a gun involved as well, probably a kalashnikov.

I've seen some of the video, but too choppy to tell much.

I'm sure everyone would have preferred a live capture to a "martyr's death".

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney on Tuesday publicly revised the administration’s account of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, telling reporters that the Al Qaeda leader wasn’t armed during the assault and didn’t use one of his wives as a shield.

Because it was a shoot on sight operation. Code words Jackpot (bin Laden identified) and Geronimo (bin Laden killed).

disappointed as i am that he apparently did not hide behind his wife ... i must say that i'm very happy with the image of osama sleeping with the fishes. that was the perfect solution.

Question him.

Then stick him in federal prison next to a mob boss from Baddabing New Jersey, instead of Baddabing Pakistan.

Hard to be a martyr when you're doing slow motion time.

It's remarkable that the wife wasn't killed too, after rushing them.

This is a guy with access to weapons and grenades, rpgs, high explosives, and he said he wouldn't be captured.
Without seeing hands up, I would have shot both of them.

Occurs to me, there might be good reason to say he didn't have a weapon.
Shot down, instead of fighting isn't much of a warrior's death in his world.

Oh for christ sakes,, The guy was already dead.. They just called for a pick up. to seal an old deal.. Some of his buds didn't get the message and started shooting.. The Packys had to stand down to look ike a bad guy.. Or the war would have to end.. That would stop the money flow.... His old lady took a shot in the leg to make more real.. Now DC is playing like they can't get thair story right. That's just another way to keep the shit sturded.. They got him back to the ship and found he was already rotting.. So a quick dump in the sea was all they could do.. photo shop is next. Then years of hearing.. On and on until the next shinny thing.
