I was surprised to see that there are over 165 pages of posts people have made that have never been replied to. Seems kind of sad. Interestingly enough I never before tonight ever clicked on that link, and I wasn't expecting there to be so many, especially considering how everybody here always has something to say about anything and everything!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

It happens. Sometimes, really cool posts get buried by "hot topic" posts...hidden in obscurity. Eplaya's mood changes all the time, and it may just be me, but there are times I need to take a break. I'm sure Ive missed some good ones! I'd be interested to see how many of those unanswered posts, are right before Burning Man. Either asking for a ticket or a ride..
anything worth doing is worth overdoing..

I know I don't. The only link I've ever use each time I come to the site is the "new posts since last visit". And sometimes the search.

Aside from the political threads, which I really enjoy, right now my favorite thread is "one item for burning man a day", because it's the most relevant thread going at the moment that I find helpful in discovering new equipment or toys that I might also want to get.maryanimal wrote:Wow jk! This is a great thread! And I agree that eplays has been getting a bit stale lately. Not enough light heartedness.
I'm not sure if its just because it's still early or what, but the usual, more BM related educational posts have yet to start appearing as frequently. Or maybe I've been on here so long that what I consider unique or educational has changed. Though I am sure I haven't yet "seen it all".

It sad when good threads get lost. Its even worse when a thread gets one or two replies. Cause then it doesn't show up anywhere.
It would be nice if Dome tents were one of the sticky threads at the top of the Q&A.
It totally is, and it makes you think of things you never considered. And on multiple occasions has shown me a much easier way of doing something.
PS. How did you do the search for "0 replies"
Sorry about that Dr. Helix! I'm guilty of a Box Truck thread. And I feel the exact same way about Dome tent threads.Dr Helix wrote:I'm with you there! If I read one more Box Truck thread I'm gonna puke.

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Then........... so as not to be frustrated to death trying to get to anything but the first or last page..... Once you're off the first page of a thread, a number appears at the end of the address bar (the http: thingy uptop). merely change that number.
The last page is in the 8000's. Change it to, say, 666. (Not 6666, I already scooped the best one from that page!)
Way more random love that way.
Edited to add a missing step. And more words. hahahaha
