Delivering a baby in the field, instead of calling med control for a pronouncement.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Yep, I've seen far too many go out the back door, so it's always nice when one comes in the front door. Your def. on a high for the rest of the shift.

Though it took 19 yrs for my first infant arrest. I coulda waited forever more for that one.

I'm sure Scott woulda agreed with that as well Crypto.

This job just never seems to let you get away with happy for too long.

Nothing would've felt better to me than giving birth to a child. I would love to witness the birth of a new life.

Oh yeah, you're right about Scott. But I think he felt lucky to have delivered eleven healthy babies into this world.

Nothing feels better than waking up everyday, curious, strong, and in-love. Even if its with ur self. Being mostly content is a new thing for me, but its nice. I'm learning the difference between being content vs. Being bored.

The sound of my sons voice...

The sound of my lovers motorcycle...

The sound of the river...

Eggs and coffee. Damn my life is pretty effin good!

The absolute best is finding a friend who when I say "I want..." he says "everything!!" And its a good thing.

Are you doing okay, Mary?

Life is complicated.
It usually interferes with what everyone would like to be doing.

There are people that need my time now, and I'm just not available much.

There are good time friends that don't want to know you when things are bad.
Then there will be the grumpy bastard that you never got along with, that shows up when you need them.

Most of the people helping me move, don't even know me.
They sure don't owe me anything.
I couldn't possibly be getting anywhere without a lot of help.

I have met some wonderful people.
But you don't need sweet talk from a real friend.
Better an honest crank to fight with, as a friend, than a false flag.

Yes gyre, I'm doing good. thank you for asking. But there are times I think my judgment is flawed! lol

Yes life is complicated for sure! I guess I'm too trusting and too much of a pollyanna (gak). I live with rose-colored glasses sometimes because I want to see the best in people, things etc.

You're moving? Where to? It's nice to know people see a person in need and help! you don't see too much of that these days. But when you do, it gives a person a little faith in humankind!

I can be a big fargin' crank at times! (did I just say that out loud?) however I'm a good and loyal friend.

Just across town, then we'll see, but it's a big job.

On the other hand, the latest rumour is that I'm secretly a married internet billionaire that made a fortune selling stuff to burners below cost.
I haven't quite figured out how that's supposed to work, but in fantasyland I suppose that doesn't matter.

Now where did I leave that wife and suisse bank account?
Under here?
No.
Maybe over here?
No.
I'm sure they'll turn up eventually.

I suppose the next thing from the rumor factory will have me replacing Bin Ladin, with my internet fortunes.

Ummmm, as one who is woefully unfamiliar with any of those objects, would someone ANYONE! like to tell me what they are? The next to last one appears to be a delivery system for cocaine, but somehow I doubt that is what it's for. Unless you have a particularly large nose.

And as a point in passing: I do not condone the use of hard narcotics.

That particular one is the smaller of THREE like it. All of our vibrators and massagers are fifty+ year-old 110 Volt machines that do everything better than any battery operated modern machine. My collection totals over 20 machines of various purpose.

A couple of them are older than wall outlets. They originally came with a lightbulb socket plug. A century ago, most homes only had an electric light hanging from the ceiling.

Oh wow! after looking at then I remembered my mom had one of those sliver things you fit your hand in, and you can massage yours self. And you shoulda seen the blow dryer too! it's funny how the memory is jogged by a collection of vibrators.

Why yes, yes we do. I think that the knowledge that at one point doctors were masturbating women to orgasm and getting no joy out of it and thinking it had nothing to do with sex, is a deep insight into the sex-negative history of our culture. Besides, it's a short book and a quick read.
