Does costco not sell the carport anymore?
Hello. I'm looking around, but I don't see any info...
I've checked costco and I don't see any on there. Am I missing something?
Or if so, does anyone have a good substitute?
Thanks.
Gabe

Costco sells what they sell until they do not sell it anymore. these units are bulky but definitely playa worthy.

It's a yearly thing. I don't know the season. I don't know if it's worth calling around or going to different costcos (costcoes?) to see if they haven't sold out yet. I've seen similar at Kragen's, but I don't know about durability.

If you need help on the rest of your Costco shopping run, I could use a couple hundred pounds of corned beef.
There's never enough beef, and it just fucking begs for corning.

So apparently there is none in Vegas, none online, and Costco doesn't ship or do site to site. So I'm looking at the brands on kingcanopy.com or wherever. Which is the solid brand I need to be looking at?
And also, do you just make your own side walls?
I missed a brand new carport from Costco on craigslist and it has totally ruined my day! If someone can give me a link to what I should be getting I'd really really appreciate it. Kinda freaking out about getting this shade structure!
***I just talked to Victorville, ca Costco and they have 5. Perhaps if anyone is headed this way ( to Vegas ) maybe we can work something out ? Hehe perhaps that is reaching. My OCD / festival prep is drivin me nuts regarding this shade .....

My Lions Club has a bunch of canopies from King. They seem to be the sturdy kind. (ymmv)

Another place, beside the rhino shelters link I provided above, is:
http://www.canopiesandtarps.com/
My entire shade structure is made from their fittings, tarps and bungee balls. I cut the poles myself and have the ability to create canopies from 10'X10' to 50'X60' with 8' or 10' peaked or flat roof.
They also have complete canopy systems built to your specifications.
edit to add: This outfit is very prompt with their shipping and service from L.A.

Curious, what type of tarp do you think is best? Canvas, Poly, Vinyl?
And what size fitting did you get? I'm looking at just possibly making my own out of all the parts.

All my stuff is the 1 3/8" chain link toprail. All the pieces are either full length(10'6"), 10 feet, 8 feet, or 57". I mostly utilize 10'X15' 14mil HD silver tarps. I have a few larger ones, but started my structure with that size in mind.
Using the 10'X15' panels makes it easy to frame a stable dimension which provides plenty of shade over a single tent or picnic table. The 45 degree braces help stabilize it also. The feet have 3 holes in them so you can literally nail them to the playa with 12" spikes or rebar.
