First Time for Southern Oregon BM Virgin
First Time for Southern Oregon BM Virgin
Have been wanting to come to Burning Man for 10 years. This is finally it since I don't have to deal with fire season (at least from the perspective of fighting them)...anymore. Any veteran Burners in Southern Oregon around Grants Pass? Reading, preparing...but would really like to actually meet some folks.
I'm volunteering as a Lamplighter. Excited about that. Trying to get to the desert to help with the lamp rehab team in a couple of weeks and then the Annual BBQ in SF June 4. Any ride shares from So. Oregon possible?

Hey Flyer, welcome!
This is my first burn also and like you, I wanted to go for about 10 years. I'm volunteering at Media Mecca.

Servo,
I ran a wildland firefighting company for 10 years but just shut it down. I've decided to go "undercover" and become a night stocker and blog about it. I think in the end I could have more take home pay as a night stocker than running my own company.
AND...I get my summers back to do things like go to Burning Man.
