The North Bay Burning Man "Virgin" Orientation Meeting - This Thursday, July 29th
Be prepared to hit the playa in style, safety, and comfort by learning from well-seasoned burners!
Burning Man is August 30th - September 6th - Are you ready?




Are you going to Black Rock City for the first time this year? Have you been before, but have campmates that don't know what to prepare for? Join other North Bay burners for an interactive evening of sharing tips & great ideas that come from experience. Burning Man first-timers and seasoned burners are all welcome to attend.


This orientation meeting is hosted by the North Bay Burning Man Regional Collective.

The evening includes:

A panel of experienced "burners" to answer your burning questions.
Tips on what to bring to Burning Man and what not to bring.
Survival tips and discussion of the 2003 Burning Man "Survival Guide."
Ideas of how to build a structure at Burning Man.
Great costume ideas for Burning Man
Mountain of Costumes clothing swap (bring costume goodies to share)
Burning Man video.
Stories of past Burning Man events.
How to get a ticket to Burning Man.
How to participate at Burning Man.
How to stay connected to the Burning Man community.


Anyone is welcome to attend whether planning to come to Burning Man or not. First time burners are highly suggested to attend (although it certainly isn't necessary).

Directions to The Health & Harmony Office


From Santa Rosa:


Take Highway 12 from downtown Santa Rosa to Sebastopol. The first signal you come to as you enter the town of Sebastopol is Morris Avenue. Bradley Video store is on the left. You can only turn right at Morris.


The address is 400 Morris Avenue, Suite G


It is on the left, just before you come to the Sebastopol Community Center (which is on the right).


The area is a light industrial area with warehouses and offices. You will go up a short, steep driveway. Look for a workout gym called "Coaches Corner." The Health & Harmony Office is across the parking lot from Coaches Corner on the end of the building.

From Marin County:


101 North past Petaluma to 116 exit in Cotati.


Go North on 116 to Sebastopol.


When you get into downtown Sebastopol area, 116 splits into a one-way street. The first signal you come to after the split is Hwy 12 (Bodega). Turn right.


The next signal is Morris Street, a few blocks down. Bradley Video store is on the right. You can only turn left at Morris.
