14 years of waiting are over!

Post by Foxfur » Sat May 14, 2011 7:58 am

Hello ePlaya!

I've finally joined eplaya because I'm finally going to the burn. Been lurking for years...

Found BM on the net thru Survival Research Laboratories abt 14yrs ago. Wife is disabled so had to work, work, work, no time for play.
Thankfully I was laid off last year after 13yrs w/ the company, yay! (No, really, YAY!)
Found a caretaking solution for mah wife :), now I can go to summer camp.
Love the desert. Spent many moons in the Mojave and other deserts (family, prospecting, surveying, us army). Can't wait!

This place is a GOLD MINE of info, thanks!

Oh yeah, I hope to meet the following folks this year:
Token - Whip smart
Figjam - Our inner Macguyvers can trade info
Cryptofish - Makes me laugh, hard
Elliot - He drives truck & so did Dad
mdmf007 - Arcane knowledge of horseless carriage laws
unjonharley - From Oregon and seems like a crafty bastard

If your name is not above, smile, you're next.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

You stand a good chance of meeting most of the ePlayans at the Annual Meet 'N Greet on 6 PM Thursday, Sept 1 at Barbie Death Camp and Wine Bistro.

You're in for a sweet ride!

Kinda surreal isn't it, to finally be able to go after it being the impossible dream for soooooooooooooo long?

Holy Crap! You good peoples is serious about welcoming the unwashed.

And surreal is apt. From wish to when.

What a coincidence... I was already planning a pilgrimage to the BDC.

(Looks at calendar, sighs)

I'll be at the gift exchange / human mousetrap in a giant air conditioned egg.

I thought ePlaya was only bad jokes and weird video clips.

I guess I need to read a little closer.

So, you think they could serve that sap from tree roots over at Da Bar?
