Why is downloading pages on Eplaya so slow?

Post by Apollonaris Zeus » Tue Jul 27, 2004 10:53 am

Even with a 1.5mb connection. Eplaya pages downloading and uploading posts so slow. If cause mulitple posts when people and myself click the submit button thinking it hasn't been clicked or sent.

Is our server up to par or is it just my machine?

I notice that other people are having the same problem.

Bullshit! Its the Feds checking out for playa terrorist.

I noticed that there has only been about 10 or less at the most people on the system and that shouldn't plug things up unless the portal or the main server's other web sites have an very high transfer rate. But sometimes it has taken me 30 or seconds to upload a post or view a page.

But glad to know that its occuring to others as well.

Gee the Fed are slow readers! Having a High School Diploma to qualify for a spy job is way out of wack to stop terrorists. A BS should be a minimum.

The eplaya's speed lately has sucked and it's not an ISP issue. You can have multiple OC-48's coming in with all the bandwidth you ever wanted and it doesn't help.

You should come to Montana you be with anyone of any age. THe age of consent is 16 and law enforcement can't do a think about except get themself sued for civil rights violation- we know a few that have had relationships with 16 year olds- it tought in Montana there are no woman. 1.5 women to 4 men!

Calsur- My bandwidth speed is 1.2mb download and 780 upload so its not on my side of the connection!

The problem with the COP having sex with the 16 yr old was that she was in her care as an officer.

If she wasn't that wouldn't have been a problem except for perhaps his wife.

This internet system is way too slow and Its only occuring on Eplaya.

You people should take this really seriously!

Will the Admin please block all PMs from her to me!

This girl is trouble, especially when she answers your first PM to her as, Hi' I'm seventeen, when all I wanted to know what her avatar was.

Sounds real suspicious to me. Heads Up people she may be right!

Actually, you are clearly mistaken. I still have the first "PM" i sent you in my sent box on here and it says NOTHING of my age until FURTHER into our conversation.

There is NO need to be posting lies about me, It is very rude.

Sorry Young girl, you can't tell anyone from posting anything especially when you call them a liar.

I have asked the Admin to research their records. They will have the last word on this!

well,

To get back on topic here " Why is downloading pages on Eplaya so slow?"

All Eplayans should just deal with it till the event.

No need to have the Admins going crazy. After all they really have been doing a bunch of work on the servers. They have their plates full with what is in store for after the event when everyone comes back let alone making sure what needs to be done with eplaya before they leave. That is a bunch in itself.

Eplaya will get a little better up till the event but fact is, eplaya is busy and is gaining more members. It's all good and will be fine.

Please give the admins a break. They need it. Only 3 1/2 weeks left. less for them.

just a friendly admin reminder!

Post by emily sparkle » Wed Jul 28, 2004 6:16 pm

hey all,

while we do not believe that tears is either an FBI agent, soccer player or Bush supporter, this is a good reminder to all that the boards are public and if you want to post about illegal things, you are opening yourself to the authorities as well as the community.

carry on...
