Me too! I almost went last year but we ended up moving into a new house right at that time.

This year is definite.

Are you camping? We bought a car camping pass.

Cool! Yeah, I already bought my ticket and am camping so I'm going for sure. I wanted to get a car camping pass but they sold out... I'm hoping they let you drive in and drop off your stuff so I don't have to haul everything from the parking lot!

I'm going to set up my North Pole Party Tent so if you see one drop on by for a drink!

Yes, the car/RV passes sold super fast during the early bird sale (I think).

I sure will stop by.

We'll have a tent of some sort next to my ugly Frankemobile soccer mom minivan.

Poor thing has been hit so many times and patched up it's all mismatchy.

Yeah, I got an early bird ticket also but they were already sold out! Oh well, I'll just bring earplugs, haha. I'll keep an eye out for your frankenmobile.

Did you have fun? Did you have to shlep your stuff far?!

We had a blast.

Hahaha, I saw at least 15-20 of them and I was thinking, oh man, she's never going to find us. It was tons of fun! I was worn out and coming down with a cold on sunday so we packed up and left mid day. I imagine the exodus was crazy on monday with everyone trying to get on those shuttles.

I was in the upper camp, Apple Patch I think. I only had to make two trips so wasn't too horrible. Next year I'm definitely going to get a car pass though! Glad you had fun, where did you end up camping?

We were down below at the very far end of about Pea Patch or Rutebega. Basically if you walked outside the festival grounds out of the gate by the Lightning stage we were almost straight back.

It wasn't really that far though. Maybe 2 city blocks to the festival? 1 city block to the potties.

I never did get to visit the upper portion of the place because those people movers looked very "hurt-knee-unfriendly"

. I didn't feel like climbing up on one and falling on my ass. I was bummed to miss the workshops but the music made up for it.

I think I hit up at least 10 North Pole shade groups and felt silly looking for mudpuppy.

Ha, it was fun though.

Ohh wow, you were in a great spot! I imagine it was noisy with all the music going. I had to use the port-a-potties right behind the lightning stage and it was quite a ride with the thundering bass during pretty lights. Haha.

I liked being in the upper camp even though it was a long walk to most of the stages. It was pretty mellow up there and got some nice breezes off the lake and great views of the sunset.

Yeah the shuttles were wild. They'd lurch to a start/stop and everyone would fall all over one another and everyone would have to duck to avoid the tree branches overhead. Good fun!
