For lives you have saved, for commercial vendors you have stayed, and for operating in a generally thankless post - YOU HAVE MY GRATITUDE.

BM and ePlaya being commerce free is one of the many reasons I find an strong attraction to The Man. This must be difficult to regulate. AntiM in particular has called out people who she even suspects as bringing commercial interest into eplaya threads - or who use Burning Man name in commercial activities like selling on eBay... and still there are others whose posts I have not read, whose efforts are off my radar. You guys are stellar. STELLAR.

ALSO - I can fully appreciate the snark exercised here as a means to prepare people for a battle royale with the elements, their own bodies, their own inhibitions, their own expectations, culture, and default views... I suspect lives have been saved due to the frank and often harsh comments delivered to the unprepared and naive by the moderators and eplaya participants.

I hadn't seen any other post expressing this sentiment, so I simply wanted to say it to you guys directly and deservedly -- I'm sure it's been done before, but you guys deserve it more often -- and I don't expect much in return beyond more snark, flaming, and self-degrading comments - cuz it's in your nature. ;D hugs!

MDMF007 and Bay Bridge Sue do a lot of quiet moderating. Dork and Actiongrl do the heavy lifting in emergencies. I may be most visible, but it is a team effort.

We'll see how y'all like it when the upgrades roll through this summer.

We just take it...like the idiots we are. I hate snark, but it keeps us on our toes. and, reminds us that we have bigger issues to face on the playa. Eplaya is NOT the playa! keep that in mind virgins.
