yes it would be cruel especially for the foreign burners who couldnt take the really cute one thats looking at you with big kitten eyes

i shall stick with the artwork then

I just scored some uv reactive plexiglas cat silhouettes... not sure what to make of them. but I think they would be adoptable.

Dolphins and cats are a great combo.

BTW AntiM, I think I'm going to drop off some prints. Is there any particular day/time to do that? Or just anytime?

Anytime, because I have no clue when I'd be in or out. Hang a few on the home, or step around and leave them in the shade structure. Leave a note on the whiteboard if we're not in.

If they are not adoptable, and most things are, then they will be turned into art for next year.

I've got several otherwise mundane pieces I've modified into just-plain-otherwise pieces over the years, and space to fly them out. Will be finding your camp for sure for a swap n greet.

We even had some art to donate last year. Then when we got home and unpacked it wasn't in the RV. I bet we find it, and some of our other missing stuff, when we go to pack again.
Or maybe we did stop by the Home for Wayward Art, and I just don't remember it.

Are you looking for art contributations for this summer? If so, what sizes do you prefer? Framed or Unframed? Paper or Plastic?

Always looking for contributions. Any tiny~small~medium size, although we did have a sofa painting one year. People are hauling these on their bikes and in over crowded cars, perhaps in packs on planes. Think portable.

And sturdy. Frames are optional, but mounted of some kind is near essential. Posters and drawings shred and crumple in the wind.

Paper, plastic, canvas, all good.

I usually have the location in the WW guide. I'm going to be listing Tuesday as the first day, although we often are ready on Monday. Easiest way is to bring art by, day time hours. I may or may not be in.
In Hushville, unless something happens. Usually on the "T" intersection if placement holds true again.

Edited to point out that even while I"m not editing I know that sentence is getting close to word salad. Maybe word macaroni salad or word jello salad.

Yes, they are. Wooden. They were in my "I'll find something interesting to do with them" collection, until AntiM wasn't able to paint because of her stressful life last year. Now I'll get them to the playa this year.

I am working on art now, painting is alright, but my collage work will be ... less prolific. Tendonitis in the right wrist makes using scissors pretty painful. Blerg.

Always, there is no such thing as too much art. What does not get adopted one year, is put up next year, or made into something new. Or goes to the regional.

Art is good, more art is better.

I suppose an exacto knife isn't a solution. Still have to grip. Maybe you could get one of those pencil grips onto an exacto knife...
And you can do tearing, maybe...

The grip is't what's so bad, it is the outward motion of the thumb, and any turning or twisting motion. I can't open my thumb wide, or put pressure down with it. Which is scissors.

Already tearing, and swearing. Heh.

Have you tried an electric scissors like those made for cutting out stuff for sewing? I find mine activate better with my forefinger than with my thumb.
