I mean what is it... a movie, flash, what program is behind the scenes.... I just think its the bomb.... I have noticed others who have a moving picture too... Please do tell how it is created....

Happy dudes are what I wish the world was full of. Whether animated or not, I would welcome them to what ever forum I was a part of. Why, you may ask? Its an animated gif. Use Adobe Illustrator. I think photoshop can do it as well. You may also want to look up "animated gif" on google.

I think the OP had a fair question, although I would have addressed it to the board in general rather than anyone in particular. But it's obviously important to many of the [sic] regulars to display a powerful avatar, a true picture of their burner souls, and why not address the most burnerly eplaya contributor of all time?

Maybe you both should start an FAQ on it, instead of carping?

My soul is empty, needless to say, and I no longer wonder about anything.

True it is an animated gif but I seriously doubt that you would get the results you see in this animation. Maybe with something like 3d studio or Softimage, Xara, Maya, poser (even though poser doesn’t give you characters that Boolean that smooth and illustrator....... I cant imagine using it in anything in the animation. I can see Photoshop for the background.)

Still doesn't explain how it was done. I don't think it was done with any of the animators. i think it was done with someone that was wearing a suit to a composite background.

most likely done in a 3d application with an image mapped to a surface behind the character. -(not that hard really).

All that matters is that it puts a few smiles on eplayains and causes a bit of creativity in the minds to happen. (figuring out how the animation is done.)
