Multimedia Newbie; physical challenges needs cush camp

Post by mauiMacMan » Wed Jul 28, 2004 5:29 pm

Aloha,

Could you help me? I will be needing lodgings for my guitar (I play really well - a tiny acoustic), a smoking Mac laptop, video camera and little else besides me and my aching back (chronic and on disability) that has me needing to lay down frequently. Ideally, I am seeking an RV pod or out of the dust and heat (yeah right?) camp that might have comfortable sleeping space. I have many stories and songs to share, and great chops on the Mac. We could make a music video! I probably could get a sleeping bag together, but will be traveling light (pun) with little else from Maui starting two months of travel. I am just carrying my creativity tools leaving most clothes behind.

If you could help me out, or lead me in the right direction, I would love to return the favor in appropriate ways.

Thanks so much for your assistance!

Peter

Aloha Peter:

I am the Kauai coordinator for our local BM group, Ka Pilina.

You might want to check in at Kapilina.org and touch base with Maui burners. Amanda, the Maui coordinator, is traveling. I don't think she will even make it to the playa this year, but perhaps someone else on the island can help.

In any case, Ka Pilina, the Hawaii Camp will be on the map at Burning Man. While I am travelling as light as I can myself and won't have an RV, etc., you are more than welcome to come and play with us.

Henri,

Thanks for the invitation, I will make note of your camp and will drop by for a visit for sure! I will check in with the Maui folk.

Blessings and Aloha,
