Comfortable, less expensive motel in Reno?

We've stayed at the Desert Rose for years, but it's become a weekly SRO motel.

Anybody know of a similar, inexpensive motel with ground floor rooms and street level parking lot?

I got a room pre and post burn at the Grand Sierra for $29 through Hotwire. I stayed there 2 years ago and it was really nice. Post-burn I went to the desk and told them I didn't want to be on the pool-side of the hotel (think thumping techno base) and they gave me a free upgrade to a suite and gave me a coupon for a free upgrade on my next visit.

The Sands from what I heard is pretty good. Last I checked it was $29 a night and a lot newer than the circus circus.

Motel 6 - you can park right in front of your room (ask for the first floor), it's also cheap, and you can load up on their free ice for coolers.

What hotel does everyone party at? I'm assuming all of them to some degree, but I wanted to stay somewhere centralized for easy party access.

Making babies in a sands regency bed bug infested room sounds like good times. Count me in.
