The Ouroboros is a snake/serpent that holds its tail in it's mouth. Wouldn't it be better to just use fuel from a feeder tank and have it held in another tank(s) for release by solenoid valves?
Why would you want to use a wedge to break open a tank to release gas? Maybe I read the shit wrong or just don't get it.

The same reason most "explosion" effects in the movies are actually gasoline effects. It is easy and makes a nice effect. But it isn't the same as a real explosion.
Propane is easy to get, and pretty safe in it's normal containers. But it holds a LOT of energy.
None of this is safe if you don't know what you are doing.
