I usually do not change my test posts. Once I find that the test post will hold strongly in the playa wind and will not come out of the ground and will securely hold up my structure, I just leave it there to serve as one of the permanent posts for the rest of the festival.

you have to be careful: with to much "test posting" you may well run across two minor despots who haunt eplaya.......and badger people to "stop posting so much".........
