Howdy. I'm xochi 74

Post by xochi74 » Mon Jun 06, 2011 8:45 pm

I am finally returning to the playa after a 7 year hiatus. I met many burners whilst attending college in Minnesota, and also prior in SF,CA.

I'm hoping to find a cheap ticket and other folks from wisconsin/Minnesota/Illinois to road trip with.

I have a car, a camper, a dome, and a shit-ton of cooking stuff.

I'm a chef.

My goal is to set up a table and cook dinner for whomever stumbles upon my outpost on the playa.

I'm tickled pink to share a meal with current and new friends.

Burningman is my gift to myself this year.

I recently finished college.

I also went through two years of hell with illness.

Cancer, a burst appendix, pneumonia, depression, spinal infections, and another major illness... Bogged me down.

Yet I kept my eye on the prize.

I still earned my chefs degree and was able to rise above the handi-caps.

I am going to thge playa to burn away the pain of 2 years of sickness, still attaining my degree, and still being allowed to live the dream.

I love sharing and feediong.

So as time comes say howdy.

This trip is all about opening my chakras, about being a kid again, about community, about love, lust, and respect.

This journey is a soul based initiative to bring positivity to others.

)'(

So if any camps are looking for a cook/musician/mechanic, I am your guy.

Cheap tickets would be most welcome too.

peace.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hell yeah!
I'm so glad that after everything you finally have a chance to make it to Black Rock City!
Way to keep your head up and your 'eye on the prize'!!!!

If this is personal tell me to 'shut up'-
Are you suffering from any illnesses at this time? I ask because you may want to make sure that you have an 'escape' plan if things starting getting out of hand. It might be a good idea to let ESD, Emergency Services Department, know where you're going to be camping at, and what sorta things you have going on. Then check in with them when you get there and let them know exactly what your address is.
The heat and dehydration (and non-stop partying) can take a tole on any one very easy!

I'm so glad that after so many years the stars have come in line, and you are coming to BRC! It is a place to be a kid again, let your wildest fantasies come true. And likely, give you a new out look on life!
Why don't ya stick your head in that hole and find out? ~piehole

Hey welcome.

So do we pronounce your name "Kiss 'n Hug of Lifeforce?"

Which would be acronimized to Khol.

Which is, of course, damned close to an indian embellishment.

I think I'll just cut the crap and call you "Beautiful".

Work for you????

She had blue skin, And so did he.
He kept it hid And so did she.
They searched for blue Their whole life through,
Then passed right by- And never knew.”
