Last minute RV Rental?

Last minute RV Rental?

Hello!

So it turns out organsing a trip to BRC from the bottom of Australia is quite a task.

With passports, tickets, gathering friends and everything else it looks like I've left it very late to find anywhere to hire an RV... I would preferably like to pick up (and drop off) the RV from San Francisco.

Cruise America still have (cheap) RV's but it doesn't look like there's any in San Francisco, which means travelling to Nevada (which isn't ideal)

Every other retailer listed on the Burning Man website do not have any RV's- with the exception of El Monte, who only have vehicles which are prohibitively expensive (for me, anyway).

Do any burners know of anywhere renting RV's that I may have missed?

Well, if Nevada isn't an option, Southern California probably won't be either.

There is one Burner, I know of, offering help in this arena.

I'm not sure if he has any units left, but, he's a burner and will do what he can, to help.

Check craigslist. You can find private parties renting their RVs

But don't tell anyone you want to take their private RV to Burning Man. (Actually, lots of rental companies won't rent to you if they know that's your destination.)

check the Reno Cragislist under burning man. There are locals here who rent out their rvs. Reno is only a little over a hundred miles to Black Rock City. Good luck

... I didn't say Nevada wasn't an option, only that my preference was San Francisco..?

In any case, thanks everyone. It looks like I'll hire from Cruise America, but I'll also check out Craigslist.
