no socks on the playa. my real life is too full of socks, this is my sock free zone. for now, at least.

it's fucking hard enough to figure out who i am every time i wake up, much less switch every sentence.

Glittering Clitoris...just as long as it is hetro men - I think the worst PM you would get from a gay boy would be someone wanting to bash your fashion, or give you a makeover. (we would never do that anyways, you're absolutely beautiful)

Hey glitclit, maybe you have some leverage and can get DVD to stop jumping around so much? I love him, but all of his socks are so active that they give me a headache.

Here is a thought:

If a person takes on a "playa name" and/or drastically alters their behavior when they arrive at BRC, doesn't that make either their default world name and persona or their playa name and personal a sock puppet in a sense?

To handle a post I know will come in response to this if I don't make comment first:

Objection: My playa persona and my home persona are the same!

Response: Unless you are REALLY low key at BRC, or are a member of a Drag Queen Caberet troupe at home (or something similarly unique) you are deluding yourself. Hopefully everyone brings a piece of their playa persona into their real lives, but going whole hog would require not just a change in you but a change in your community as well.

I didn't invent, or even really like mine. I only use it here because people recognize it.
Whenever I called my best friend (a burner...) on the phone and his wife answered, I always just said "Goddammit...", to which she always replied "What the hell?..."; then she'd yell "Hey, it's Goddammit on the phone!"
So they called me that at camp.
The "Captain" part was added by virtually everyone when I was driving my boat.

If you meet me on the playa, I'll most likely use my real name, Joe.

I kinda liked having a sock for a day or two... Gave me some one intelligent to write to....

I made postings under Wildeone since i began, the flaming became brutal... so in light of an ISP change anyway..... I converted, Even made one post to myself... (Just to get the post to the top) thought it was kinda fun too....LOL

But in order not to confuse anyones love for me..... I am simply just Free Drinks... rounds on da house all.....

And i have been retracting my "Stupid Shit" statements with revisions after being ripped to sheads.... I know that i have said some thoughtless things but, Really.... I had just concerns and how they are interpreted are sometimes beyond me.....Some of the replys i got to my "Stupid Shit" were the answer that i requested... so how come some got what i was saying and others ripped it apart.... I know it is not ALL me.... some people need to be accountable for thier own interpretations as well.

Excellent point. Some just are'nt quick enough to realize that wierd shit like misinterpretations happen with the internet all the time. If only they (exploding heads) could take time out to think in multiple directions before blasting off at a person the misunderstandings would be less.
