That's quite the trek there, Vizoo.
By your name I can tell you are a person of vision (and good aim), making it likely you will not only make it, but without getting too lost.

avoir l'oeil juste;
to have a good eye
Enjoy every inch and second of it.

Oh but getting lost is part of the fun, that route is not absolute and is very flexible :-) BTW I just changed and uploaded a new route on Washington's map.

I hope you're also equipped with paper maps. When you're in a drop out zone, you're gps will be off (if you're using cellular service).
I like paper - dead trees don't lie.
Good luck with your trek - that's a wonderful experience you're embarking on. What an extraordinary life experience! - you will truly treasure it.

Hi Vizoo!
I've just checked out your route, looks amazing! I'll be doing a kind of similar thing after Burning Man, except I don't drive (trains and buses for me) ... so I'm looking for ride-share opportunities along the way - are you accepting fully participating (except driving) passengers for any other sections of your trip? If so, I'll send you an email and maybe we can meet on the playa!
cheers

Sorry for the delay, I've set ePlaya to send me emails whenever a new message was posted on this topic but don't know what happened and missed to reply many of them. Our car is not yet ready, its like a pregnancy... Because of this we now don't know if we will go to Alaska before or after BM. I hope we go before so we can bring back some glacial ice to chill Doc's wine
Also we have not yet decided if we will have space to keep the back seats on the car, its all to be decided within this weekend. Anyway I look forward to meet you at Playa.
Kiss,
R

And Vizoo, got the package today. Thanks!
[edit to add] Anyone notice how all the really cool newbies are part of BDC&WB? Coincidence? I think not!
Welcome, Vizoo! and best wishes. Looking forward to meeting you at BDC!

Hello dearest Barbiebarians,
We just crossed the Canadian border today towards Calgary. Tomorrow probably will be skydiving in Edmonton. The route, pics (some amazing ones) and facebook link are at: http://www.americas2011.com
Cheers,
Vizoo
