Small Theme Camp Looking

Post by zorro sings » Sun Jul 04, 2004 10:14 am

We would like to try and ad a couple of people a year to our camp,Club Verboten.Only 6 at present and with the exception of our 20/30 something couple, middle aged.Retro avant garde nightclub at night and drop in joint during the day.Can offer decent Esplanade location(at least last year it was),camping space, all infrastructure,a benign dictator and an opportunity,if you like,to come up with your own party night. In return you are only asked to make an ice run and be able to contribute something somewhere along the line.NO kitchen provided.Couples preferred but not at the exclusion of interesting individuals. Most of our events are already posted on Playa Events Calendar so you may get a clue about us there.Thanks.

Burners Need Camp to Stow Tang

Post by Soul_Mongo » Tue Aug 03, 2004 7:05 pm

My friend Abbey and I are looking for a camp to join where we can share food prep/clean and theme activitiy responsibilities. Abbey is a 35 year old Aussie female who makes excellent Tang Burners and I am a 32 year old mutt male who has been known to burn toast. We are friends who work together near San Francisco and are looking for a community in which to share our first B-man experience. We have our own shelters but who wants to camp alone when a group is more fun?

Is Verboten accepting any more members? What do we do about meals (on our own?) References are available on request.

Burn On,
Soul_Mongo (Eric)
