Anyone Experience Guitar crackage

Post by Guest » Fri Jul 30, 2004 8:09 pm

I am planning to bring my Ovation which IS my campfire guitar... In the ten years i have had it it has already had the front plastic coating shattered (but it didn't come off ) and large chunks of wood knocked off ofeither side of the head. So it is definately my shit-kicking guitar....

since i read in a post somewhere...."guitars dry up and can crack"...

Has this actually happed to anyone.... Is there any one who can testify

My classical beater fared pretty well last year... but expect the dust to work its way into places where it will never, ever leave. Leave the Martin at home.

prolly depends on how wet it is where you currently live.

i'd never take my Gretsch out there. (she's special).
