Looking for travel mate

Post by Oso » Tue Jun 14, 2011 8:58 am

How many roads must a man walk down before he admits that he's lost?
- Bobby D.

This is my third year, and this year I'm lost and alone in my quest to go home to BRC. Seems like everyone is either "Ya, I'm gonna go some year" ....or.... "Why do you wanna go to that?"

So... I'm looking to share an rv from Las Vegas with two others - cost will be about $1,800 each + gas, etc. If you've got your shit together and are responsible, but still have that adventurous spirit, let's talk.

You've got your work cut out for you. One post on eplaya is not going to do it.

From today, and everyday, until you sign up your desired number of riders, you're going to have to scour the Rideshare listings on eplaya (when it's activated for 2011), and your local Craigslist Rideshare listings. You will have to go after the riders you want...they will not come to you.
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

Way to strew discouragement around, dragonpilot. Just not doing that eplaya friendliness we are so famous for.

No, no.... it's not discouragement - it's true, gotta do all that it takes to get there this year. That's what it's about.
Last couple of years the wife and I had an rv out of Vegas for $1,500, but we booked 8 months in advance! This year she's not coming.

Just a couple of links down. :) It seems like she's trying to get rid of a whole RV rather than share space . . . well, whatever, you'll know if it's for you.

Oso...
Hi! I'm going to be flying from the UK and was hoping to hire/share a RV from ?somewhere with ?someone.... I'm happy to sort out vehicle hire etc, but would need to split costs. Have you had any joy? And if not are you up for clubbing together?
Big love either way x
